Glencore entered a non-binding MOU for US-backed Orion CMC to buy 40% stake in its DRC assets Mumi and KCC at $9bn enterprise value. Orion gets board seats and offtake rights. They plan expansions and new projects in DRC and African copper belt. This boosts US critical minerals supply.
