Aspen received SAHPRA approval for Mounjaro (tirzepatide) as a chronic weight management treatment. The therapy, approved for Type 2 diabetes, is now cleared for weight loss use alongside diet & exercise. The once-weekly KwikPen multidose injector will make the drug more convenient & accessible for South African patients.
