Sales and other Transactions: Grindrod Shipping announced several transactions, including chartering-out a supramax bulk carrier, exercising purchase options on chartered-in vessels, completing the sale of a handysize bulk carrier, and entering contracts to sell and purchase other bulk carriers. They purchased a newbuilding and a 2011-built handysize bulk carrier and extended the charter-in periods of two supramax bulk carriers. The acquisitions were approved by the board and were priced based on independent broker valuations.
