FY Results – Glencore proposed a merger with Teck followed by a demerger to create two separate groups: one with coal and ferroalloys and the other with transition metals like copper. Glencore’s proposal was strongly rejected by Teck. Teck is a Canadian mining company that focuses on copper, zinc, and steelmaking coal.
