FY Results – The renewable energy group increased revenue by 16% to R11.13 billion. operating profit increased 17% to R1.23 billion. Profit for the year was up 10% to R844 million and HEPS improved by 9% to 519 cents. Results reflect the ongoing recovery in both the Applied Electronics (+27%) and Electrical Engineering Segments (+13%), coupled with an above inflationary increase in the ICT Segment’s (+4%) performance. Supply chain dynamics and chip supply shortages weighed on cash flows.
