Vodacom revenue was up 10.9% to R81.59bn, while service revenue advanced 12.2% to R65.81bn. HEPS gained 32.3% to 467c below the revised guidance midpoint of 476.5c. Interim dividend rose 15.8% to 330c. The out-of-court settlement with Kenneth Makate on the “Please Call Me” matter weighed slightly on EPS, trimming roughly 17–36c per share. EPS was 472 cents, up 33.3%.
