Truworths, the fashion retailer, expects HEPS down between 2% and 4%, to between 722c and 737c. Group retail sales fell 0.9% to R21.8bn, affected by weaker consumer spending and the stronger Rand. Truworths Africa sales fell 2.1%, while Office UK sales rose 4.9% in sterling. Online sales remained strong, rising 21.5% in Truworths Africa and supporting overall trading.
