The Foschini Group 

TFG reported group sales up 11.5% to R14.4bn for the first quarter, supported by the White Stuff acquisition and strong online growth. Group comparable sales, excluding White Stuff, rose only 2.5% in rand terms, while TFG London like-for-like sales fell -2.6% in GBP. Sales in TFG Africa increased 5.2%, with Homeware and Beauty outperforming, while online sales grew 40.2% and now contribute 7% of the division. TFG Australia remained under pressure, with sales down -2.8% in AUD as inflation and promotions weighed on consumer demand.
