Standard Bank reported earnings growth for the five months to May 2026 moderated from the 12% recorded in the first quarter, but remained supported by franchise momentum. Revenue growth was driven by balance sheet expansion, higher client activity and strong transactional volumes. Lower credit impairments, disciplined cost management and continued strength in Insurance and Asset Management supported profitability. The group maintained FY26 guidance.
