PIK launched an accelerated bookbuild offering of up to R4.7bn in Boxer shares. The placement represents around 11.5% of Boxer’s issued shares, with Pick n Pay expected to retain a controlling 54% stake afterwards. Proceeds will support the retailer’s turnaround plan. Management said improved like for like sales, stronger gross margins and logistics efficiencies continue supporting the recovery strategy.
