Palantir rose 4% after second-quarter adjusted earnings of 16c per share beat expectations of 14c, with revenue up to $1bn from the $940m forecast. The defense technology company benefited from stronger demand in government and commercial segments. The results topped Wall Street consensus on both profit and sales.
