NEPI, the European shopping centre owner, agreed to acquire MegaPark Barakaldo in Bilbao for €254m. The 81,000 square metre retail destination is 97.3% occupied and attracted 12.75m visits in 2025. The acquisition carries a 6.8% net initial yield and will be funded through existing cash and undrawn facilities. The deal marks NEPI Rockcastle’s entry into Spain and expands its portfolio beyond Central and Eastern Europe.
