Sale Completion – Mondi completed the sale of its three Russian packaging converting operations to the Gotek Group for RUB 1.6bn. The sale has received all necessary approvals, and Mondi has received €30.4m in net proceeds. The company plans to distribute the net proceeds from all Russian asset sales to shareholders once its exit from Russia is finalized. The sale of Mondi Syktyvkar, the company’s main facility in Russia, is unrelated to the sale of the packaging converting operations, and the company is actively exploring other divestment options for Syktyvkar.
