Labat agreed to acquire the remaining 24.45% of Classic International for R27m, giving it full ownership of the ICT infrastructure business. The consideration will be settled through the issue of 900m new shares at 3c each. Management said the acquisition strengthens Labat’s artificial intelligence and enterprise technology strategy and allows shareholders to benefit fully from Classic’s future earnings and cash flows.
