Hudaco reported HEPS down 32.9% to 629c, in line with the midpoint of its trading statement guidance, reflecting losses from discontinued operations. Earnings were affected by the closure of its alternative energy business, restructuring at Eternity Technologies, and the absence of a prior year R35m fair value gain. Revenue increased 9.5% to R4.21bn, while operating profit rose 11.2% to R485m, supported by continued growth across the core business. Comparable EPS increased 12.4% to 978c, highlighting the strength of continuing operations. The interim dividend increased 10% to 385c.
