Canadian Project – Gold Fields and Osisko Mining are partnering to develop and mine the Windfall project in Canada, with Gold Fields investing C$600 million for a 50% stake. Gold Fields will also fund the first C$75 million of development expenditure for exploration projects. The Windfall project has a 10-year life-of-mine and an all-in sustaining cost of $758/oz, making it a low-cost mine in Gold Fields’ portfolio. First production is anticipated in 2025.
