Exxaro Resources has agreed to acquire manganese assets, including Tshipi Borwa and Mokala mines, from Ntsimbintle Holdings and OMH Mauritius for R11.67 bn. The purchase price may adjust to between R9.00 bn and R14.64 bn due to pre-emptive rights, tag-along rights, and escalations. The deal, funded by Exxaro’s cash and bank facilities, is subject to regulatory approvals and expected to close in early 2026.
