Dyne Therapeutics (DYN), a US biotech developing RNA-based therapies for rare muscle diseases, soared 41% after rival Avidity Biosciences (RNA), which also specialises in RNA treatments for rare genetic disorders, agreed to be acquired by Novartis for $12bn. Avidity surged 42% to $72 per share.
