Clientèle agreed to buy 100% of Emerald Life, a micro-insurer focused on funeral insurance, for ~R597.5 million. Additionally, R50 million may be paid if certain targets are met within two years. The transaction is funded through preference shares issued and is subject to regulatory approvals.
