AngloGold Ashanti reported a 22% increase in gold production in Q1 2025, reaching 720,000 ounces, driven by the Sukari Gold Mine acquisition and strong performances at Siguiri and Tropicana. Free cash flow surged 607% to $403 million, and headline earnings rose 671% to $447 million, supported by a higher gold price of $2,874 per ounce. All-in sustaining costs (AISC) for the group increased slightly by 1% to $1,640 per ounce. The company reaffirmed its 2025 guidance.
