Steel Partnership – Anglo American has partnered with H2 Green Steel in Sweden to trial Anglo’s premium quality iron ore from Kumba in South Africa and Minas-Rio in Brazil as feedstock for a direct reduced iron production process. If successful, this would reduce CO2 emissions by up to 95% compared to traditional steelmaking.
