Auction Results – Gemfields conducted an emerald auction featuring higher-quality rough emeralds from 15 May to 1 June 2023. The auction saw total revenues reach an all-time record of $43.7 million. All 35 lots offered were sold, setting a new record for a 100% sales rate. The auction also achieved an unprecedented average realized price of $165.55 per carat, marking a new milestone for Gemfields. In addition, the cumulative revenue generated from Kagem gemstone auctions since July 2009 has now surpassed $964 million across 45 auctions.
