Q1 Production Report – The total production of PGMs decreased by 6% to 901,200 ounces due to lower grade from Mogalakwena and infrastructure closures at Amandelbult. Refined PGMs production decreased by 13% to 626,000 ounces due to lower smelter capacity from scheduled asset integrity work at Waterval and Eskom load-curtailment. Eskom load-shedding impacted both concentrators and smelters, leading to increased work-in-progress inventory. PGMs sales volumes decreased by 17% to 698,600 ounces due to lower refined production. The unit cost per PGM ounce produced is R16,800 – R17,800. The guidance for 2023 remains the same.
