FY Results – Revenue was up 22% to R19.33 bn. Operating profit jumped 103% to R1.4 bn. Headline earnings per share jumped 125% to 2,762c. And a total dividend per share of 1,380c was declared, up 97%. The outlook was grim with pressure on consumer spending, record high raw material costs and load shedding. Production cutbacks are expected to be implemented and significant capital expenditure in diesel generator capacity.
