Coinbase (COIN), the cryptocurrency exchange, fell 12%, while Robinhood (HOOD), an online brokerage and trading platform, declined 8%. Both stocks came under pressure following a major cryptocurrency security incident involving Binance. The incident reportedly affected approximately $6.3bn in assets, with around $3bn frozen.
