Nedbank reported HEPS up 2% to 1,841c for the six months to 30 June 2026. Revenue increased 6% to R38.24bn, supported by stronger net interest income (NII) , non interest revenue growth and disciplined cost management, partly offset by higher credit impairments and the absence of Ecobank associate income. Headline earnings were broadly flat at R8.41bn, although excluding the Ecobank disposal impact they increased 12%. The cost to income ratio improved to 56.2% from 56.9%. The interim dividend increased 2.3% to 1,052c, and management expects stronger headline earnings growth during the second half.
