Glencore reported copper production up 15% to 397kt for the first half, while zinc production fell -21% to 365.6kt and nickel production declined -2% to 35.8kt. Copper growth reflected stronger African Copper mining rates and grades, plus higher Antamina grades, while zinc was weighed down by the Lady Loretta closure, weaker Antamina grades and the Kidd mine disposal. Full year copper, zinc and nickel guidance was maintained.
